The guitar tone was warm and buttery, with just a hint of sizzle added by the soundman to beef up the overall bass volume. I thought I heard a few guitar backtracks helping Dean out, which was a nice touch for the mix. We sat directly in front of the sound board and were in the Sweet Spot where the energy filled the arena, thanks to the 4 talented guys. The setlist, though a bit too radio friendly for me, showcased the top-notch musicians and their great recordings like Talkshow and Army of Anyone. It would make my year to have another Army of Anyone disc. Burning Spear only gets better with each performance, as this fourth show since the early 90s proved. At the end of the show, it was really cool to see each member bring their kids out on stage.
